Takayuki Hashimoto

サックスプレイヤー/ギタリスト/ハーモニカプレイヤー
1969年大阪生まれ。幼少時代をインドネシア、中学時代をフィリピンで過ごす。15歳の時にギターから音楽を始める。同志社大学経済学部卒業。
2009年、Gallery Nomart（ギャラリーノマル）をホームにsaraとコンテンポラリー・ミュージック・ユニット「.es（ドットエス）」を結成。現代美術ディレクター林聡がプロデュース。
.esとしての活動に加え、ジャンルを縦横無尽に横断する音楽家として独自の存在感を放つ。
2015年、kito-mizukumi rouber（キト-ミズクミロウバー）に加入。2016年、アルバム『グンジョーガクレヨン』にフィーチャーされる。2017年、内田静男とのユニット「UH（ユー）」を結成。
ソロアルバムとしては、サックスソロ『COLOURFUL』（2014年）、藤本由紀夫作のオルゴールギターソロ『Sound Drops』（2014年）、ハーモニカソロ『SIGNAL』（2016年）、『ASIA』（2017年）、『CHAT ME』（2020年）をリリース。
2021年5月10日、類まれなる才能を惜しまれつつ52歳で永眠。「音楽に限定しない表現」「アートへ向かう」という意志を.esが引き継ぐ。

Takayuki Hashimoto, born in Osaka, Japan in 1969, spent his childhood in Indonesia and middle school in Philippines. He start playing music at the age of 15 with guitar. He gained his Bachelor's Degree in Doshisha University, Faculty of Economics.
Formed in 2009, residing in Gallery Nomart, one for contemporary art, in Osaka, .es is composed of Takayuki Hashimoto and sara, a contemporary music unit, produced by Satoshi Hayashi, director of the gallery.
In addition to the activities as a member of “.es”, Hashimoto joined "kito-mizukumi rouber” in 2015 and was featured in album “GUNJOGACRAYON”in 2016. A unit named “UH” was formed by Hashimoto and Shizuo Uchida in 2017.
Hashimoto’s solo albums including the saxophone solo album “COLOURFULl”(2014), the music box guitar solo album "sound drops”(2014) produced by Yukio Fujimoto, the harmonica solo album “SIGNAL”(2016), “ASIA” (2017), and “CHAT ME” (2020)were released.
On May 10, 2021, Hashimoto passed away at the age of 52, having regretted his exceptional talent.
