「生」を感じる為の有効な手段とは、対極の「死」を感じる事ではないかと思う。私はいつもその「死」の“かけら”を探し歩いてきた。それこそが
インド、ヨーロッパ、アフリカ等で生活し制作に向かわせた動機である、とふと考える。

作品では人物の表情、感情、人格は有機的な形態と強い色彩で覆い尽くされる。それらは記号化されて円の図柄で構成される空間に溶け込む。そのイメージは私が探し求める「生／死」への憧憬に近いものだ。鑑賞者にとって色彩を知覚する網膜こそが最も有効な器官となるだろう。色彩を通じて、宇宙、静寂、精神、それらの世界を体現したい。

I believe that an effective way to feel “life” is to feel “death” , which is the opposite of life.
I have always walked around and looking for “pieces” of death. This is what motivated me to live and work in India, Europe and Africa.

The face, emotion, personality in the works are covered by the organic shape and the intense colors, and fuse into the space constituted by the texture of circles.This image is close to my longing for the “life/death” that I seek. For viewers, the retina, which perceives color, might be the most effective organ here. I want to present the worlds of universe, silence, and spirit by colors.
