池上 恵一
Keiichi Ikegami
病弱だった幼少期、両親の食養法に救われる。以来、人間にとって健康とは何かを探求しさまざまな手技療法や武術を習得。日常生活の中で身体にうまれる「凝り」に魅了され、人の身体を揉んだ手の記憶をもとに、指圧ドローイング・彫塑・ワークショップによる作品を展開。京都精華大学大学院美術研究科洋画分野修了
As a sickly child, he was saved by his parents’ dietary therapy. Since then, he has explored the concept of health for humans, mastering various manual therapies and martial arts. Fascinated by the “tension” that arises in the body during daily life, he develops his artwork through Shiatsu drawing and sculptural creation, based on the memories of his hands kneading people’s shoulders and backs. Completed the Western Painting Program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Kyoto Seika University.
