高嶋英男のノマル初個展「からっぽに満たされる」(2025.1.11 - 2.8) 出展作品

日本画を学んだ後、“空間の中にある立体”に興味を持ち工芸、彫刻を学び直して現在の表現に行き着いた高嶋。ノマルの元ディレクター林聡の提案により制作された、陶作品に通じるカラーリングのドローイングは、原点回帰でありながらこれまで培った立体感覚が反映された作品となっています。

Hideo Takashima’s First Solo Exhibition at Nomart “Filled with Emptiness” (Jan. 11 – Feb. 8, 2025) Exhibited Works

After studying Japanese painting, Takashima developed an interest in “three-dimensional forms within space” and revisited the study of crafts and sculpture, eventually arriving at their current artistic expression. The drawings, created at the suggestion of former Nomart director Satoshi Hayashi, feature color schemes reminiscent of ceramic works. While representing a return to their origins, these pieces also reflect the three-dimensional sensibility cultivated over the years.
